PRESENTATIONS.
A farewell social was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. York, .of Kutarere. 12 miles from Opotiki, Mr. York having been head teacher at the Kutarere School for some years, and now being transferred to Awaken. Mr. J. King, on behalf of residents, wished the guests oh'the evening success and happiness in their new sphere, and presented Mr. York with a set of pipes and a wallet, and Mrs. York with a clock.
