NOBEL PRIZE AWARDS.
ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICINE. TWO PROFESSORS HONOURED. (Received October 28, 10.57 p.m.) A. and N.Z. STOCKHOLM, Oct. 28. The Nobel prizes for medicine have been awarded to Professors J. Fibiger, of Copenhagen, and Conjuregg, of Vienna. Professor J. Fibiger is Chancellor of the University of Copenhagen and Professor of Medicine. He is 60 years of age. Professor Fibigei is an authority on cancer, iri which he has done much re search work. In London, in June, 1926, a dinner was given in his honour by lead ing members of the medical profession and the authorities of the Cancer Hospital, "in recognition of his eminent services in cancer research."
