YOUNG PEOPLE'S DANCE.
BREAKING-UP CELEBRATIONS The pupils of Miss Johnson's Friday evening dancing class held their break-ing-up party at the Click Clack Cabaret last evening. The dance passed off very successfully, there being a large number of parents and pupils present. Miss Johnson was presented with a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and lilac at the beginning of the evening. Miss Johnson wore a frock of emerald green embossed panne velvet with panels of gold tissue; Miss Birch, frock of japonica pink taffeta; Miss Foreman, shell pink petalled georgette over satin; Miss Joyco Hewitt, turquoise blue satin; Miss Betty Chambers, pink shot taffeta; Miss Mona Craig, cyclamen georgette with silver panels; Miss Mary Pilkington, vieux rose crepe de chine; Miss Tilly Bountree, powder blue crepe faille; Miss Gwen Gilbert, black taffeta; Miss Elaine Robb, rose georgette; Miss Jean Mitchell, cherry crepe de chine; Miss Barbara Steadman, electric blue taffeta; Miss Hilary Biss, wedgwood blue taffeta; Miss Annette Thorne-George, kingfisher blue taffeta and silver. Miss Doris Inglis, silver lace over pink georgette; Miss Myra Hoskings, powder blue georgette; Miss Mabel Suter, buttercup panne velvet; Miss Kathleen Stokes, gold lame with skirt of green net. Miss Phyllis Biss, flame taffeta and silver; Miss Alice Bailey, ciel blue georgette; Miss Lois Cameron, silver tissue and cream lace skirt; Miss Kathleen Baker, apricot georgette; Miss Gwen Hooper, jade green georgette: Miss Molly Kidd, heliotrope crepe de chine; Miss Mizpah Hutchinson, wisteria crepe faille and ecru lace; Miss Meg Simpson, royal blue taffeta and cream lace; Miss Joan Northcroft, myrtle green taffeta; Miss Peggy Upton, lilac taffeta ; Miss Betty Lea, ivory crepe da chine; Miss Clem Tronson, lemon taffeta; Miss Ruth Wilkie. sage green romaine.
Miss Lovelace Milne, black chiffon velvet; Miss Audrey Oldburv, pervanche blue satin; Miss Harriet Lewm, Nile green taffeta and siler lace; Miss Freda Kenny, hyacinth taffeta; Miss Rona Calvert, steel blue crepe de chine; Miss Dorothy Shearer, bois-de-rose crepe faille; Miss Nesta Melsop, willow green crepe de chine.
A breaking-up party for her very young pupils will be given by Miss Johnson in the cabaret this afternoon.
