COUNCIL AND SUMMER TIME. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MORJRINSVILLE, Friday The Morrinsville Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mi. S. S. Allen, presiding. In accordance with the notice given at the last Mr. McPherson moved that the time of meetings should be altered to 8 p.m. during November. Mr. Chapman objected, urging compliance with the Rummer Time Act. The Mayor also appealed foi a fair trial for the Act. However, he supported the motion, which was earned. The Main Highways Board advised approval of a subsidy of 30s for £1 on a sum of £SOO for maintenance of the main traffic route through the borough.
