A TERRIFIC STORM.

EVERY W'JNDOW BROKEN. The entire vegetable crop of Russell Island, at the southern end erf Moreton Bay, Queensland, was destroyed by a terrific hailstorm recently. Practically every window of the 47 houses on the island was broken. The damage is estimated at £SOOO The storm lasted only 15 minutes. Over 2in. of rain fell, and hail in considerable quantities. Some ptones measured up to Sin. in diameter.
