POVERTY OF CLERGY.

RELIEF FUND IN LONDON. HEARTRENDING APPEALS. LONDON, Oct. 19. The Poor Clergy Corporation last year had 962 applications for money grants and 985 for clothing. Some of the appeals were heartrending.
