HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST.

The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H;.M Vincent last evening:— Fair and warm weather is indicated, although unsettled at times in districts northward of New Plymouth and Napier, with, intermittent heavy rain. Mainly fine conditions are expected southward of the above-mentioned places Scattered thunderstorms are likely in northern areas, due to tropical influences. Winds variable and mostly moderate, northerly to north-easterlies, moderate to strong, ruling temporarily. Seas moderate. Barometric pressure will decrease slowly in the north Pressure is still very high over the Dominion, little alteration being shown at present, but the fine weather system, which has ruled for several days, is expected to break up shortly, as un settled conditions are developing on the Tasman Sea Barometer, midnight . .. 30.<101n.
