Walker, of Opotiki. has had the mis fortuno to loso tho services of Gold Dot, who broke hor leg while training at Gisborne, and had to bo destroyed. Gold Dot was a nseful mare, and had won enough in stakes to put her out of the hack class. She was expected to be among the winners at tho Poverty Bay meeting.
