PLANS OF NEW WHARF. COMPLETION WITHIN A YEAR. Tenders have been called for the construction of a new wharf at Wbangaroa, North Auckland, tho old lauding baring become unserviceable. The new wharf will be situated approximately 17 chains by road north of the present one and will be constructed of ferro-concrete with I6in. piles. The dimensions will be 100 ft. by 60ft., with an approach 24ft. wide and 120 ft. in length. ... . Standing on the main wharf will be a single storey transit shed 65ft. by 30ft. Xhe equipment of the shed will include a cool store for butter. A minimum depth of 16ft. at low tide wiU give ample water for coastal vessels, two Swhich Will be able to berth at the same time. Launch steps -will be pro vided on the western side of the approach. It is expected the whari E wdl be completed withm a year. Messrs. Jones and Adams, Auckland, are the engineers.
