OBITUARY.
MRS, ELIZABETH McCALL. [BY TELEGBAPH.—■OWN PAPAKURA, Thursday. The death occurred yesterday of Mrs. Elizabeth McCali, aged 78, widow of Mr. Thomas McCetl- airs. McCail had had a long association with the ClevedonPapakura district. She was bora in Lanarkshire, Scotland, and cam® to New Zealand in the ship City of Auckland in 1870. Her marriage took glace in New Zealand Her first place of residence was Clevedon, and later, with her husband, she went to the Thames gold-, fields. They returned to the Clevedon ; district and settled at Ness Vallev, where they remained for 36 years. in recent ?ears Mrs McCali had been living at apakura and Papatoetoe. Her husband died 11 years ago. Mrs, McCali is survived by a family of three sons and four daughters. There are 20 grandchildren.
