MURDER OF GENERAL.
COMPLICITY IN POGROMS. DEFENCE CLOSES CASE. (Received October 26, 9.35 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. PARIS. Oct. 26. At the trial of the Russian Jew, Samuel Schwarzbard, on a chargo of murdering General Petlura, of Russia, in Paris on May 25, 1926, the evidence for the defenco was suddenly terminated yesterday, after further witnesses had declared that Petlura was responsible for the pogroms. Counsel announced that there was no need to call the remaining 80 witnesses.
