NUMEROUS COURT CASES. It was stated in the Police Court yesterday that the community car drivers intend to take further action in the Supreme Court under the By-laws Act of 1910, to test the validity of the bytaw which now compels them to keep off the roads. t ' Recently a test case was taken against a driver of a community car and Mr. E C. Cutten, S.M., entered a conviction. An. appeal by defendant to the Supreme Court was disallowed

As a result other community car drivers were prosecuted yesterday. The owners and drivers convicted and ordered to pay costs were :—William Parkinson, John Marmont, Edward Anderson, Edgar Anderson, Percy Browne, Arnold Pitcher, Louis Postlewaight, .Tames S ten berg, Herbert 0. Stewart, Harold McCloushlan, Ernest Mosheim, George Monritz, Daniel McLaren, Haydon Ooddurd, Ernest Good hew and Ernest Carter. The charges against William Thomas Martin and Samuel Bradley were withdrawn.
