BANKRUPT UPHOLSTERER.
OPPOSITION TO DISCHARGE. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Harbert Maria McGregor, uphnlsterer, Kohimarama, was held yester day, the official assignee presiding. The schedule showed unsecured debts £195 The assets, comprising book debts, stock-in-trade and furniture, were assessed at K. 90, leaving a deficiency of £lO5, lu a statement, bankrupt attributed his position to a fire, to depression in business generally, and to damage done to his motor-car.
The official assignee was instructed by creditors to oppose bankrupt's discharge until he made some effort to meet liabilities.
