CONFERENCE IN AUCKLAND. The activities of the Society in the Auckland metropolitan area are now conducted through 17 sub-centres, in addition to the headquarters in Auckland. W T ith a viqw to securing closer co-operation and uniformity of administrative methods throughout this widespread organisation, the societv has convened a conference tp be held in Auckland to-morrow afternoon. The proceedings will be continued on Friday afternoon, when delegates from the various branches and sub-branches will be present. Delegates to the meetings will on Saturday afternoon visit the Auckland Kantane Hospital. Subsequently, they will be entertained at a garden party by Mrs. David Nathan" at Manurewa.
