CEREMONY AT NORWICH. HONOUR FOR DISABLED MAN. ' (British Official Wireless.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY, Oct. 10. A disabled former private soldier yestexday unveiled the Norwich War Memorial in the presence of 40,000 people. He was helped arm-in-arm to the steps of the Memorial by General Sir lan Hamilton, under whom he served at Gallipoli. Sir lan said that by choosing a disabled soldier to unveil the Memorial Norwich had assured closer relations between the armies of the dead and of the living than if they had appointed to that duty any statesman or general, however famous.
