SUEZ CANAL TRAFFIC.

RECORD FOR EIGHT MONTHS. GERMANY IN SECOND PLACE. (Received October 11, 5.5 p.m.) and N.Z. PARIS, Oct. 10. A report bv the Suez Caual Company, was published this evening, states that the traffic through the canal for eight months was 2,395,000 tons, the highest tonnage ever attained for the period, For the first time eince the war the German flag-has returned to the position .it held' in 1913, and the -German .jtojinage was tho second highest.
