WEDDING.

The Shackleton Road Baptist Church, Mount Eden, was the scene of a pretty wedding last Thursday, when Rita, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Mills, of Mount Eden, was married to Edwin, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy, of Epsom. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. J. R. Grave. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory iolene de chine fringed at the waist and shoulder with pearl ornaments. The embroidered veil was caught round the head with a "coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of white sweetpeas, stock and lilac. Miss Mariori© Mills, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pale green georgette. Her head-dress was a wreath 6l vielvefc leaves and flowers and she (tarried a bouquet of ranunculi, daffodils and primroses. Mr. J. Parkes, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man.
