RUSSIAN COUPLE ARRESTED SECRET CODE DISCOVERED. DRAMATIC POLICE COUP. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received October 6, 7.43 p.m.) » A. and N.Z. BERLIN. Oct. 5. British and German police who have been co-operating in various countries have unearthed an international organisation for smuggling drugs. It was discovered that an elegantly-dressed Russian woman emigre from Marseilles was in the habit of meeting a Russian from Hongkong. They were both searched and in their largo amount of luggage a quantity of heroin was discovered. The man wore petticoats, each with 22 pockets for packets. A search of flats where the woman's acquaintances lived revealed the key of a strongbox in a Berlin bank, in which was discovered a code for correspondence by which the pair communicated with each other.
