MAN UNDER THE BED.

TWO GIRLS AND TWO BOOTS. [from our own correspondent.] NEW YORK. Sept. 7. Two little girls, aged seven and five, were going to bed when they noticed two boots protruding from underneath. Knowing nothing of fear at the moment, they decided, in whispers, to grab a boot each and pull. They did, and .from under the bed a man emerged, leaped hoadlong through the window and took flight. The children screamed and when the police arrived they observed, in the crashed bushes and footprints beneath the window, undeniable evidence that the children's story was no fairy tale.
