PICTURES IN PASSE PARTOUT.
Attractive photograph frames are rather expensive to buy now, and really nothing looks better, whether it is for a photograph or small picture of any sort, than plain passo partout. It has the added advantages, too, of costing only a trifling sum, and being perfectly simple to do at heme. The materials required are very few. There is the roll of passe partout, costing about sixpence. This can be obtained in many colours, including brown, grey, green, and the ever-popular black. In addition will be needed a piece of cardboard for backing, picture hangers, some thick paper for mounts, and sheets of glass of the proper size. If you possess a large piece of glass from an old picture frame, get this cut for you by a glasier. It is cheaper than buying the glass new The photograph, unless its own background only is used, should be mounted
