TO-DAY'S RUGBY MATCH.

AUCKLAND AND WELLINGTON

FINAL REPRESENTATIVE GAME. KEEN CONTEST ANTICIPATED.The Auckland Bugby representative ? team will plav its tenth and final.match of the season at Eden Park this afternoon, when it will meet the Wellington representatives.. In view of the unbeaten record of each team, the game is arousing exceptional interest, and a record attendance is anticipated. Auckland has scored in its matches 220 points against 30, while Wellington, in six games, has scored 125 points against 70. Although the visitors, who arrived yesterday, will be without the services of three All Blacks—Porter, Svenson and Elvy—they are reported to be a strong combination. Younger players replacing these stalwarts have displayed good form m club football in Wellington. -Malcolm is a well-known fallback, and Soiith, centre, has built up a reputation as a most promising player. Both Lance Johnson and Mark Nicholls, the fiveeighths, have played in Auckland club football, and this pair of All Blacks should require close attention. Kilby, halfback, is an ex-Southland representative who played for the South Island last year. In Wellington he is acclaimed.as a certainty for the South African tour. In the Wellington forward line the names of Pringle, Taylor, Shearer and Thomas are familiar in representative. Rugby. Auckland will field practically its - best team. The inclusion of Sheen and'McWilliams, who did not play against Otago last week, will, no doubt, strengthen the team,-both back and forward.
