MOTOR-CARS FOR THE CITY. Objection to the omission of a schedule of recommendations from the report of the Stoves Committee was made by Mi J. A C Ailum at !ast evening's meet :ng of the City Council. The point had reference to the advisability of stand a; d ;smg the purchase o! the council's motot jars The committee s report stated that it desired tc submit for adoption a sche.l uie of recommendations r. regard to the matter. "These recommendations are not at tached to my tile. " said Mr. Ailum. The Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, said a confidential report was sent to. each member of the council. "I received one, but the recommendations are not attached to my papers." replied Mr Ailum. The report had previously been adopted and the Mayor ruled Mr. Allnrn oat of order.
