AKARANA CLUB. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting oi the Akarana Cricket Club was held las! evening. There was a large attendance of members and intending members The following officers were elected:-Patron. Mr. F. A. Hellaby; president, Mr. W. W. Luke: vice-presi-dents. Messrs. Cowan. Atkin, f?utherford, Douglas, Whiteside and Major Cardale; management committee. Messrs. Houston. Rabbidge, Darby, Cowan, and P. J. McCormick; sole selector. Mr. P. J. McCormick; secretary and treasurer H. L. M. Buisson: delegates to Auckland Cricket I Association, Messrs Buissori aDd Davies. Mr. F A. Hellaby's bat. for the player obtaining the highest average for the year, was won by Rabbidge, with an average of 71.6 Mr. W \V. Luke's bat was presented to Buisson. who was considered by the committee to be the best all-rounder. An anonymous donor presented a silver cigarette case to T. Spicer for obtaining the best bowling average. Major Cardale intimated he would present a trophy to the most improved junior player during the forthcoming season NORTH IS) J ORE CLUB. Fne annual meeting of the North Shore | Cricket Club was held last evening. Dr. i Bennetts presiding over an attendance of 25 members. The annual report showed the club had j enjoyed a successful year, which ended with j a credit balance of £65 The following officers were elected:—Presi 1 dent. Dr Bennett? secretary. Mr. T. K. Smith; assistant-secretary, Mr. Woolley. treasurer and gear steward. Mr S. Smith assistant-treasurer, Mr. Townsend; committee, Messrs. Woolley. Player, Jackson, Sampson Townsend, Colebotirne. Wynne; club captain Mr. W J. Coaies: delegates to Auckland Cricket Association. Messrs. G .Tackson. W. J. Coates and Woo'ier: bon. auditor* Messrs. F T Eyre and A Wilson
