ROOPE ROOSTER FINAL. GATE PROCEEDS TO CHARITY. INTERESTING CURTAIN-RAISER. The final of the Roope Rooster knock-out competition will be played at Carlaw Park to-morrow afternoon, when Richmond, holders of the trophy, will meet Devonport. In the semi-finals decided last Saturday, both teams placed fine football. The same teams met last season, and after a close contest Richmond won. The match to-mor-row is causing considerable interest, and a fast and open contest is anticipated The free list is suspended, as the gate-receipts will be given to local charities. An interesting curtain-raiser lias been arranged, and Ellerslie winners of the B section, play Athletic for the right of nomination next season in the A section Following are the teams for to-morrow PONSONBY.
