REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Lucky Shot.—The drive on tho fofitwall dropper has been advanced 7ft. for the | week, making a total distance of 4i>ft. As reported by telegram, wo secured 10lb. of ! picked stone on. September 6, another 15lb. i on September 7, and a further amount of I ;islb. on Septerabor 0. The roef now has opened out to the full width of the drive, I and. is showing gold freely. The drive on [ tho main reef has been advanced Bft. for the week, and is bearing around to the cast. [,L ? it keeps its present' course, it should ['junction with tho dropper in about 30ft. Golden Ago,—The drivo on tho main reef j has been advanced a distance of Gft. for the week. Wo have now passed through on j* to - the banginswall. Tho reef iu of a i rubbly nature, and is heavily mineralised. {The quartz coming to band looks well, and 1 would expect improvements' at any time. The rise has been extended 6ft. on the footwall of tho reef, which still continues to show a little kfold when broken down. Maoniand.—Dunn;? last week tho intermediate level ! has been repaired, rails laid, and put in working order for a distance of I 92ft. The- passes have also been repaired, so ! this block is now ready for stoping. A ' chamber has been mado and re-timbered on the wall of the intermediate level, and a start will bo made this week to sink >n winse to ascertain tho value and din of the reef below the level. A Cat Bhcet has been laid at the low level to lend into the crosscut when required
