THE AUCKLAND SHOW.
ACTIVITIES OF COMMITTEE. Tho Finance Committee of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association met yesterday, the president, Mr. W. W. Massey, presiding. The New Zealand Meat Export Control Board wrote stating it made donations for prizes to the Royal Show only and was therefore unable to accede to the association's request for a prize for tho forthcoming show.
A deputation was received from the Auckland Kennel Club regarding arrangements for tho show and a subcommittee was appointed to finalise the matter.
Mr. S. Hodge urged the committee to institute a "better bull" campaign. The opinion of the meeting was that tlie proposal required thorough investigation and it was decided to refer it to the general committee.
