The cattle which comprise this offering are an unusually good lot, and visitors to the sale will be well pleased with the quality and type offering. Mr. Carter, in getting his splendid herd together, has not spared time nor expense in his efforts to secure the very best. There are many of the lots which, if exhibited, will be very hard to beat in any show ring. These cattle are not only of excellent type, but are also full of dairy quality, and with reasonlible treatment some great records should be established with them. The females and males alike throughout the catalogue are bred from proven strains and are supported with both butter-fat and show-ring performances. Purchasers will benefit by the performances made by the ancestors of these cattle when they come to sell the progeny, and the wise old adage that "nothing pays like the best." may be aptly applied to this splendid offer ing. This sale affords a unique opportunity for Jersey fanciers to improve thenpedigree herds. This is Mr. Carter's first sale at the homestead, and ho has made a special effort by offering a beautiful lot, numbers of them prize winners, and he has decided to sell practically without reserve every animal offered at his' sale. The sale will bo held under cover, and ample seating accommodation will be provided. Luncheon will be available from 11 a.m. jg UCKLAND & gONS, LTD..
