DR. HIGHT RETURNS SOON. A. anrl N.Z.-Sun. LONDON, Sept. 5. . Dr. James Hight, professor o! history at Canterbury College, New Zealand, who is to return to the Dominion in October via America to take over the rectorship of Canterbury' College, has accepted invitations to lecture at the Columbia, Washington and Leyland-Stanford Universities en route. Dr. Hight has met numbers of New Zealand graduates in responsible positions in England, including three professors at St. Andrews, two lecturers at Leeds, and others at Liverpool and Manchester. A year ago ho exchanged chairs for 12 months with Professor A. J. Grant, of Leeds University, who is now in Christ* church.
