PROVISION FOR SETTLERS. [BV TKT.EGR.V Pir. OWN CORRESPONDENT. } THAMES. Wednesday As a result of representations by the Hauraki Plains County Council, and Messrs. A. M. Samuel and T. W. Rhodes, M.P.'s, the Hon. K. S. Williams, Minister of Public Works, has advised that a sum of £SOO will be placed on this year's Estimates for the metalling of five miles of the Waitakaruru-Morrinsville road, in order to give relief to 24 Torehapc settlers
