FIGURES FOR PAST YEAR.
A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Aug. IG. The rat-catching department of - the Sydney City Council cost £4723 in 1926. It constantly employed nine expert ratcatchers, who set 47,000 traps and caught 5800 rats at a cost to the council of 12s 6d a head.
