QUEENSLANDER'S . PLANS.
| TASMANIA TO THE BLUFF. | a. and N.Z. BRISBANE. Aug'. 16. An attempt to fly from Hobart, Tasmania, to the Bluff, New Zealand, is con- ! templated by Mr. K. Moreton Frewen. He intends to make the attempt alone. Mr. Frewen will leave for Sydney on Monday to have certain structural alterations made to his machine. This is a Bristol fighting plane of 275 horse-power. It has a cruising speed of 95 miles an hour and a range of 1500 miles.
The proposed flight is to be financed by a Queensland business man.
