AUCKLAND FRENCH CLUB.

A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING.

The Auckland French Club held another of its successful fortnightly meetings on Monday, nearly 100 members being present: An excellent programme of entertainment was given, including piano solos by Master Walton, recitation by Mdlle. Olive Little, selections by the Dorian String Quartette, anecdotes by M. Paul Serre, French Consul, and a dance by Miss Bettina Edwards. The programme concluded with a one-act play, "La Glorieuse Incertitude," those taking part being Miss Steel, Madame Little and Messrs. Ardern and Little.
