DEATH ON DIOMEDE.
COLLAPSE OF SIGNALMAN. A fatality occurred on H.M.S. Diomede at Pago Pago on July 20, when Signaller H. T Fluskey died from heart failure Aquatic sports were held by the ship company in the morning and Signailei Fluskey took part in a swim mine: race He appeared to be in good health hut his death occurred suddenly the same afternoon. The funeral at Pago Pago was carried out with full naval honours be fore the Diomede left for Suva two dfw.s later
Signaller Fluskey was single. Me was 28 years of age, and had served for a number of years in the Royal Navy, being a native of England and an Imperial rating.
