WORD BUILDING CONTEST.
Here 'is a new word-building competition whicli will afford amusement to all readers of " Boys and Girls." See how many words you can make out of the title of our page, " Boys and Girls." Only words in every-day use to be given, and no plurals. Work must be 'done by children themselves. Two half-crown prizes for girls and boys from seven to nine, two from children ten to twelve, two for thirteen to fifteen. Number all words carefully in columns. Closing date, August 30. * Address entries as directed to-day in "Rules for Competitors."
