HOCKEY MATCHES.
THE DEVONPORT SHIELD. PROGRAMME FOR TO-MORROW. PERSONNEL OF THE TEAMS. The Devonport Shield competition will be continued at the Remuera grounds morrow afternoon. The early matches will be between Somerville Colts and University Colts and Epiphany and University. At 3 o'clock Somerville will play Mount Eden, Wesley will oppose Training College and Areta will meet St. Luke's. These games are all likely to provide interesting displays. Jn a hockey match at Te Puke yesterday the Tauranga ladies' representative hockey team defeated Ts Puke by 3 goals to 2. A match at Tauranga between the men]s representatives and a B team resulted in the former winning by 5 goals to 1. * In a schoolboys' match, Ponies defeated Poneke by 3 goals to 2.
