OLD COINS.

Sir, —In answer to "Wee Mite's" inquiry with reference to the one-third farthing he has in his possession, I have much pleasure in informing him that i also possess several of these small coins, one bearing the date 1866. They were minted for use in Malta, and were, I beliove, in currency for a number of years. E. 8. DAVILL* Cambridge, August 8, 1927.
