Waikato defeated a Waipa representative Hockey team at Steele Park, Hamilton, to-day by 4 goals to one. The home team had the better of the game throughout, and scored within a few minutes of the start. During the first half Sexton and O'Regan scored for Waikato and Wood for Waipa. There was some bright play in the second spell, in which Peters and Radley scored for Waikato.
