CRIMINAL SESSIONS TO-DAY

TWENTY-TWO CASES FOR TRIAL

In the quarterly criminal sessions of the Auckland Supreme Court, which , will begin this rncrning, twenty-two cases have been set down foj; trial. These involve 38 separate charges against 23 persons. There are two charges of reckless driving of motor-cars so as to cause death and two of attempted murder. Theft or some other form of dishonesty or indecency are the subject of the majority of the remaining charges

The following cases have been added since the list was published: —Robert Francis Hanna, forgery (one charge), uttering (one charge), false pretences (three charges); Reginald Arthur Pyke, indecent assault and wilful exposure.
