AIR FORCE VENTURE.
DIRECT FLIGHT TO INDIA. ATTEMPT MAY SOON BE MADE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received July 22, 5.22 p.m.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY, July 21. The Under-Secretary for Air, Sir Philip Sassoon, announces that a further attempt to make a non-stop flight to India may be made, at any , time when the air staff are satisfied with certain tests which have yet to be carried out and when the meteorological conditions are favourable.
