A total 'of 27,500 employees in Britain are on the King's roll of those.who employ a certain percentage of disabled ex-service-men. ;j - ■ • The Enrolled firms now employ about 280,000 of these men. Government departments discriminate wherever possible in favour of the enrolled firms when they are placing contracts, and 581 municipal bodies now follow a similar course.
