OPENING TO-MORROW WEE:K.

The official opening ceremony of the Auckland Olympia Motor Exhibition will be performed by tho Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 9. The exhibition,, which will be held in tho Central Wharf she-ds, will be open from July 9 to July 16. Arrangements have been made with the Auckland Harbour Board to have the use of the wharf space within the vicinity of tho exhibition gheds as a parking area. Accommodation will thus be provided for over a thousand cars,, The whole of this parking area will be illuminated flood lights. Next Monday the sneds will be available for the erection of stands, and this work, together with tho lighting and decorating, will then be proceeded with. The entrance, which comprises tho whole area between the sheds, has now been completed with the exception of tJre illuminations and • the decorations. Over a hundred of the very newest creations from the world's leading motor manufacturers will be displayed. The value of the exhibits will be approximately £100,00(1.
