INDUSTRIAL TROUBLE.
FACTION FIGHT WAGED. QUEENSLAND WHARF WORKERS. A. and N.Z. BRISBANE, Juno 29.' A faction fight is in progress among (ho waterside workers at Cairns, and has assumed a serious aspect. At the request of the police, attempts by shipowners to pick up labour have been abandoned owing to fears of a riot between the opposing forces. The dispute lias now resolved itself into a fight between the Federal president of the union, who is in Cairns, and the Federal secretary, who is in Melbourne.
