AIR AND WATER TRANSPORT. According (o a recent issuo of the Monthly Review of (he Bank of London and South America, proposals have been put forward for an aerial mail service between Europe and the Argentine. The service is to be inaugurated on September 1, and correspondence will bo carried from Toulouse to Buenos Aires in 7j days at the outset, and later in four days. The route will be from Toulouse to Casablanca, and from Casablanca to St. Louis (Senegal), by aeroplane; from St. Louis to Cape Verde Islands by seaplane; from the Cape Verde Islands ;;o Fernando Noronha by steamer; thence to Pernambuco by seaplane; and thence to Bio de Janeiro and on to Buenos Aires by aeroplane. The total distance to be covered is 7690 miles.
