MATCH AGAINST DURHAM. HOME SIDE NOW 163 FOR 8. (Received June 21, 1.5 a.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON. June 20. The cricket match, New Zealand v. Durham, was continued to-day at Sunderland. When stumps were drawn on Saturday the visitors had completed their first innings for 373 runs, and the home side had lost eight wickets for 111, Brooks (22) and Cook (34) being the not-out men. These two batsmen are still together, and have raised the score to 163. In a useful stand at a critical stage Cook has made 57 and Brooks 50. Details of the scores are:— NEW ZEALAND.—First Innings.
