ACTIVITIES 0F THE DUKE. (British Official Wireless.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY. Juno 19. While tho Duke of York was at Malta ho hold a leveo in tho famous Frescoed Hall. Subsequently the Duko and Duchess motored up the Strada Reale to lay the foundation-stone of a building in tho new town which is being built on the site of the old fortifications. This ceremony took place in an arena formed by high battlements on which thousands of people had gathered. Their Royal Highnesses were again given an enthusiastic reception.
