TRANSFER OF OFFICERS.

Major C. G. Fitness, who for the last ten years has been in charge of the Salvation Army boys' training farm at Putaruru, has been appointed manager of the People's Palace, Auckland. Commandant A. Armstrong, of the Eltham Boys' Home, succeeds Major Fitness at Putaruru, and Major J. Dixon, of the People's Palace, Auckland, takes charge of the Eltham Boys' Home.
