Other qualities: June 11, 156s to 160s. Australian.—Salted: June 11, 162s to 1645; exceptional, to 1665; June 3, 164s to 168s. Unsalted: June 11, 168s to 172sj June 3, 170s to 1745. Other qualities: June 11, 150s to 1645. Danish.—June 11, 166s to 168s per cwt.; June 3. 165s to 168s. Irish.—-Creamery: Juno 11, 160s per cwt.; June 3, 164s to 1665. New Zealand.—Coloured : June 11, 84s to 86s per cwt.; June 3, 87s to 90s. White: June 11, 82s to 84s; June 3. 86s to 88s. Other qualities: June 11, 80s to 83s. Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per Mahia, Port Victor and Horatius. Tallow.—The market is quiet. Thera was no auction this week. Quotations are nominally unchanged. Apples.—The condition of the Horatius shipment is good. The soft fruit season has begun, but supplies are small and are not yet affecting apples, for which the market is firm. Prices are as follows Cleopatra, 16s to 18s per case; Jonathan, Sturmer, Statesman, 14s to 16s, up to 17s; Delicious, Dunn's Favourite, Rome Beauty, Stark and Ballarat Seedling, 14s to 16s; Premier, Wolseley, London Pippin, 14s to 15s. Hemp.—The Manila market is firm, with an improved demand for close at hand. "A" grade May-June shipments sold at £44 10s, June-August shipments are quoted, sellers, £44. Sisal market is quiet. Tanganyika No. 1, June-August shipments, are quoted, sellers, £3B and No. 2. £37. New Zealand: Better demand for lower grades; common and rejected, afloat, sold, £33 10s and £32 10s. For June-July shipments possible buyers might pay New Zealand sellers £33 and £32. Hiffhpoints not wanted. Spot stocks offered £35 10s. Nominal value, JuneJulv shipments, £35; Fair, £34. Tow: Better demand, due to scarcity of Sisal No. 2. In store sold at £24 10s. Wool.—Bradford market is steady. More business is being done in low and medium qualities. Average prices are:— 64's (Merino), Warp, 4s per lb.; average, 3s lid; 56's (super halfbred), 2s 10d; 50's (halfbred), 2s 2d; 40's, prepared, Is 7fd. DAIRY BOARD'S REPORT. HEAVY DANISH SUPPLIES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from the London agency, dated June 10, showing prices for the week, with those for the previous week in parentheses: — Butter.—New Zealand: Salted, 161s to 164s per cwt. (163s to 170s); unsalted, 174s to 176s (178s to 180s). To hold buyers to New Zealand against continued low prices of Danish, the market dropped back 6s, and is now firm. Danish imports are still exceptionally heavy, but are considered to be at the peak. Australian: Finest salted, 162s to 164s (164s to 168s); unsalted, 163s to 172s (l/0s to 1745). Argentine: Finest unsalted, 166s to 168s (168s to 170s). Irish creamery: Salted, 160s (164s to 1665) ; unsalted. 164s (172s to 1745). Dutch: Unsalted, 160s to 164s (164s to 1665). Estonian: 162s to 1545. Latvian: Salted, 160s to 162s (162s to 1645); unsalted, 164s (164s to 168s). Lithuanian, 158s (160s to 1625). Siberian, 158s to 160s (160s). Danish: 166s to 168s (166s to 168s). Retail prices: Danish and Colonial, Is Bd. Cheese. —New Zealand: White, 82s to 84s (85s to 86s); coloured, 84s to 86s (87s to 88s).. The market is quietly firm after the fall, but sales are slow. Canadian, old season's: Finest white and coloured, 93s to 100s (98s to 100s); new season's offering at' 84s, but no business. Retail prices are unchanged. The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada i •—Butter: Montreal, 333 cents (Is 4 7-8 d); New York, 42£ cents (Is 9£d); San Francisco, 42 cents (Is 9d).
