OPENING NEW WORKSHOPS. The new workshops at the Jubilee Institute for the Blind are to be officially opened by Sir Edwin Mitchelson next Saturday afternoon. The blind workers went into occupation three weeks ago, and on the opening day they will be busy at their daily tasks, so. that the public may have an opportunity of, seeing how the work is carried on. The cost of the building was subscribed by the people of Auckland, assisted by a Government subsidy.
