FARM WORKER MISSING.

SEARCH AT OREFTE POINT. A farm worker, Mr. James Reid Turnbull, aged 59, mysteriously disappeared from Orere Point, on the Firth of Thames, some distance from Clevedon, on Monday morning. Ho obtained employment on a farm owned by Mr. Rowlands, and was driven out by car. Shortly afterwards it was found he had disappeared, his belongings being left behind. The missing man was well-known in the district and also at Otahuhu, and search parties of settlers and residents were organised and have been scouring the district almost continuously sines Monday. On Wednesday a party of police set out from Papakura to assist in the search, but without result. Fears aro entertained that Mr. Turnbull may have met his death in the Orere River, which is in flood. It is considered possible the flood may have swept his body out into the Uiames Estuary. '
