DISPUTE SETTLED.
SCORIA-PIT WORKERS. An agreement was reached at a conciliation council yesterday in tho dispute between the scoria pit workers' section of the Auckland Builders' Labourers' Union and the employers. Mr. P. Hally, conciliation commissioner, presided. The assessors for the union were Messrs. WBrown and J- Sutherland and the employers' assessors were Messrs. S. E. Wright and W. E. WinstoneAgreement was reached on. all points in dispute, which concerned increased wages for one class of worker and improved working conditions. Tho award, which will come into operation on June 24, will operate for two years.
